While the show’s graphic sexual content and violence are “challenging” by US TV standards, “I didn’t think anything we did wouldn’t make it on air after 9.30 in New Zealand … “I saw Sex and the City and The Sopranos down here relatively uncut in a 9.30 slot. I thought it would be a no-brainer for one of the free-to-air broadcasters down here to have bought it. It caught me a little bit off guard. Tapert, her father-in-law who passed away on 02 June 2010. Rob Tapert Snr passed away this week in Detroit. He was a wonderful, funny man till the end -- a terrific Dad and husband.
